Amanda-Clearcreek FFA visits Statehouse and meets with Governor Dewine!

Congratulations to our A-C FFA Ag Issues Forum Team for winning the Eastern Region Championship! The team consisted of Grace Martin, Reese Melton, Bella Metz, Alana Benjamin and Madi Matheny. There are 18 states in the Eastern Region. Our team was representing Ohio at this regional level contest. As part of this Career Development Event our team completed a 10 page written Portfolio and 15 forum presentations to two Ohio House Reps, one Ohio Senator, Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio Corn and Wheat, The Ohio Soybean Council, the Agri Spray Drone Corporation and many others. This is the fifth time that an A-C FFA team or individual has won a regional championship in the last ten years. We are very proud of our team for upholding the high standards and success of this particular CDE and representing our FFA Chapter, our school, our community and the state of Ohio in such a spectacular way.  Congratulations!

A-C FFA members Haley Robinson, Madison Cordle, Emma Strickler, and Cate Buckley met with Governor DeWine and his wife at the Statehouse recently after being recognized on the senate floor by Senator Tim Schaffer.  Congratulations to these amazing students for representing Amanda-Clearcreek with excellence!

Amanda-Clearcreek FFA members were recently recognized for earning State Degrees.  Congratulations to Cate Buckley, Madison Cordle, Caidyn Garee, Travis Spence, and Emma Strickler!  Way to go, Aces!
